ABOUT ME
Curious, passionate, a bit stubborn — but above all, a scientist who walks the path of knowledge. I am someone who constantly researches, produces, and thinks analytically. I have taken part in multidisciplinary research and projects based on real-world conditions. These experiences have strengthened my ability to adopt a solution-oriented approach through various financial models, even during times of crisis.
Just as companies strive to increase their equity value, I believe that every individual has an intrinsic value as well. In my view, the most important way to enhance this inner value is by investing in oneself. Experience and personal development are the key elements that elevate one’s intrinsic worth. Articles about people often highlight their schools, completed doctorates, or earned certificates — yet these alone are not sufficient to reflect true value. For me, genuine intrinsic value lies beyond academic titles and professional qualifications; it is the ability to present my real-world experience, acquired in contemporary market conditions, to the public while upholding my ethical principles.
As for my academic background, I was awarded the title of Associate Professor in Finance in 2014. I also hold the Capital Markets Board (CMB) licenses for Advanced Level and Derivative Instruments. For many years, I have been serving as an instructor in institutions such as the Public Oversight, Accounting and Auditing Standards Authority (KGK), the Turkish Capital Markets Association (TSPB), and the Capital Markets Licensing, Registry and Training Agency (SPL).
Alongside my academic work, I actively continue my consulting and training activities. To date, I have provided services to numerous companies in the areas of valuation, start-up and brand valuation, project feasibility and financing studies, IPO advisory, as well as mergers and acquisitions consultancy. My training topics include Financial Management, Financial Literacy, Financial Analysis, Financial Mathematics, Company Valuation, Financial Modeling, Finance for Lawyers, Capital Markets, and Investment Strategies.
Within the scope of my scientific publications, I am the international editor and chapter author of the books “Valuation in Emerging Markets: Challenges, Approaches, and Strategies”, “A Practical Guide to Startup Valuation: An Analytical Approach”, and “Financial Data Analytics: Theory and Practice” published by Springer, as well as “Valuation Challenges and Solutions in Modern Businesses” published by IGI Global. I also have numerous articles indexed in international scientific journals.
Beyond my academic and professional journey, I am married and the mother of two bright-eyed daughters — who, without a doubt, are my greatest source of inspiration.
